Taking the course

  • Once you have completed all of the required tasks, you can access the certificate in the My Profile section. You can print the certificate, and many post it in LinkedIn.

  • The course is graded as a pass, once the required amount of content has been completed.

  • Assignments are marked as passed automatically, but periodic audits are conducted. Inappropriate or clearly inadequate submissions may be failed during these audits.

  • To receive the certificate (and academic credit, if applicable), you must pass each of the five main chapters and at least three subchapters from each one. Completing more subchapters overall won’t compensate for missing the required number in a particular chapter.

  • There is one assignment in each main chapter and four in each subchapter. To complete the course, you must submit a minimum of 25 assignments.

  • Assignment answers cannot be changed once submitted. We recommend drafting your response in a separate document and pasting it in when ready.

  • Course completion data is transferred to Sisu regularly. Please allow up to two weeks for credits to appear.

  • Many schools enable Diving into radical creativity MOOC to be included in their degrees, but this is up to each school to decide. Student can prove that they have completed the course by providing the certificate.

  • Some quizzes have more than one correct answer. Try selecting multiple answers at once.

  • In some quizzes, the relevant material appears later in the chapter. Keep reading before answering.

Privacy & data use

  • Creating an account allows the platform to track your progress, store your assignments, and issue certificates or badges

  • If you opt in, you may receive emails about related courses, learning opportunities, or university updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. 

Technical issues

  • There may be a delay in updating your progress. Try refreshing the page or checking back in a day or two.

  • Email and language cannot be changed after registration. Email is used as your unique course ID. Language is locked due to credit requirements — each course at Aalto must be completed in a single language.

  • Use the Forgot password link on the login page. This appears when you try to log in with a wrong password, or when you leave the password box empty. If you don’t receive a reset email, check your spam folder.
